ZAM Begins a New Era as B’Flow Takes Over Leadership!

B'Flow Elected Zambia Association of Musicians Chairperson

The Zambia Association of Musicians (ZAM) has officially entered a new chapter after holding its elective Annual General Meeting (AGM) today, with heavyweight artist Brian Bwembya, famously known as B’Flow, emerging as the newly elected Chairperson.

The atmosphere at the meeting was electric, with tension, hope, and anticipation filling the room as musicians and stakeholders cast their votes to decide the future direction of the association.

When the final results were announced, B’Flow stepped forward to a wave of excitement and gratitude, thanking members for trusting him with the responsibility of leading Zambia’s music body.

Speaking through newly appointed Publicity Secretary Edmond Miti (Cray J), B’Flow made it clear that the campaign phase was over and now it was time for serious action.

“It is now time to work and deliver on the promises made during the nearly two-month campaign period,” he declared.

He further called for unity in the music industry, stressing that ZAM should not be divided by election results or personal differences. According to him, the focus now is rebuilding trust, strengthening structures, and pushing the industry forward.

B’Flow also extended an olive branch to musicians who had stepped away from the association, urging them to return and be part of the rebuilding process.

“A united association is what I hope to build. We shall embrace all members, including those who did not vote for us… come and sit with us, share your concerns, and let’s work together to bring the change we need,” he said.
